Christm-ass 2010

Worst Holiday season ever.
My two great children are sick and miserable, my wonderful wife is just as bad off. I have spent the last 24 hrs trying my best to help where I can cleaning up bodily fluids (yes all of them) and doing laundry and trying to make a 4 year old understand she can not eat whatever she wants when she is throwing up.
I seem to be making my parents mad at every turn. No matter what my decision is or why it is wrong and I am unreasonable. Like I need that stress. GET OVER IT.
Bills are piling up and I am tapped out. Which bring me to my job. We are going through a contract change (for the last year and a half) and we are down to the last couple of weeks. I still do not have an offer letter from the new company (no one does) and the uncertainty is driving me bat shit. I really need my vacation payout check and as it looks that will have to wait until late in January.
My sister and new nephew have been in town almost a week now and I have seen them for about an hour and a half thus far and that sucks. My uncle and his family are in town from Florida and I have not even gotten a phone call.
Christmas presents are bought (not all I wanted to do but no money. Kids are covered though) but still need to be wrapped.
The only thing I can say is this year Christmas can SUCK IT BIG TIME!

p.s.
Anyone have a problem with me using Christmas over Holiday you can suck it as well. I am not even religious and I am all for Christmas. This whole Holiday Season BS can go blow.

Fall is here.

I keep forgetting about this blog and I wish to try and be better about it. Not sure I have much to say at the moment though......
Halloween was good, kids had fun. Tomorrow is election day, would be nice to get rid of that dip shit Perry. Also I would like for NASA to get off their ass and resolve my companies contract, sitting in limbo sucks big balls.

more to come soon.

Summer Time

Cassie made it through the school year with passing grades. She will be moving on to 8th grade in the fall, we are very proud of her. Dannie is starting her summer session of gymnastics and doing very well.
My wonderful wife is in full swing for Roller Derby (game 6-12-10) @ there new location th House of Derby (HOD).
My job is still in limbo between Meetings and Events Operations and Installation... waiting to see if that will change before too much longer. I am trying to get a bump up to the Maintenance Department.
Amanda and I are looking forward to the Blue October concert in July (24th) @ the House of Blues (second show)

That is all

This Month...

May is Zombie Awareness Month.
You should check your weapons and ammo stocks, also make sure your evac plan is solid and everyone involved is updated on new changes for the year.
The world relies on tech too much these days and when the apocalypse comes it will be a rude awakening for most people. Be ready for some mid-evil times people, it will take some getting used to and be awhile before infrastructure is back up and running if at all.

I'm just saying.

I have a new dream/goal.....

Let me just start out that this unfortunately will be a long term goal/dream before it comes to pass.

My wonderful and very wise wife told me awhile back (like two or three months ago) that I should get a bike like the Honda Goldwing or something that we can ride together and take trips on. At the time I was like sure baby sounds fun (whatever I ride sport bikes only, always have always will, dammit!).
Now here we are sometime later and I can not get that out of my head.... to the point I (over the last two or three weeks) have been reading about Honda Goldwing bikes online and doing "my research" that I do on most anything I am interested in. OK, so here is the nuts and bolts. I want (need) one of these bikes, I can forsee  my wife and myself riding the open rode taking trips to Michigan, Utah, Washington and Virginia as well as many other places on one of these fine riding machines.
From my research I have discovered that I want a 2004 model or newer, however the "basic" comfort package is plenty good although I will not turn away an upgrade to the NAV or ABS package if the deal is a good one. Also I will be wanting the 1500cc at least but would prefer the 1800cc model.

2008 Honda Gold Wing

Although I think I like the black model best a lighter color might be the best option for visibility reasons.
So anyway now you know my goal, thy will be done!

Current and upcoming activites.

WOW what a busy month we seem to be having.
Cassie's birthday went well and all the girls had some fun.
Work never seems to stop (I'm not bitching about it) new equipment to learn and systems I am installing keeps me busy most of the time.
My wonderful wife is helping plan my sisters wedding (one week and two days from now). Crunch time.
I am taking my two beautiful daughters to the beach tis weekend so I can do my part for my sister (I am building an arch for the ceremony).
My wife and her gang of Roller Derby girls (SSRD) just left out this afternoon for Corpus to take on the league from there on Friday night. Good luck ladies!!!!
Alas I need to get my new tire for the bike soon (I am hoping to get this done on Saturday) as I am starting to show some steel belts a bit. I know I know!
I would like to think October will be not as busy, however I think I should know better.
